Five dollars lens came yesterday. I re-lubed focus part and re-aligned it for M8 and on M8. Measured one meter from focus scale print to M8. Rotated lens block until it was OK. Re-installed focus ring matching one meter mark.

I need focus tab to make it street ready. With this lens on M8, camera has Bessa R tendency to bring buttom up :)

A modified I-69 is a great lens for the Leica M8 and Epson R-D1.
The vignetting enhances the look

A friend now has my R-D1 and the I-69 to play with.

I converted mine by grinding down the mount's internal focusing helical (and stop posts) by about 1.5 millimeters so the lens tube would screw in far enough to reach infinity focus on the R-D1. Only needed to paint a new indicator dot on the aperture ring.

Thank you, citizen99.
Rick, I remember your examples, they are great.
Arbitrarium, Minitar One Style :).

Took this kit for quick ride on the Go train to Toronto Union Station in the morning.

I really need focus tab on this lens....

If you crop, edit and add frames ... it is even usable on something like my M-E:

:)

Thank you for showing them. This lens seems to be sharp if focus is correct (easier with greater distance).
