This is great. For me the SUMMARON magic is shining here
Thanks!
Here's another frame from the same roll;

Considering price of 3.5 to be so low, it is like cheating

The tiny size of the 3.5 makes it an easy carry for suburban walks. The three below are on TMax 400 @ iso 500 in Diafine, with a yellow filter.

The Summaron has been, and still is, my first choice for 35.

I'd like to see a separate 3.5 thread with shots like that. I think the 3.5 is often overlooked. I'd like to see what people do with theirs.

Not that I am the one to decide but I find 3.5 photos here trolling and that 3.5 photos has nothing to do in this thread as 2.8 has specific character and this is thread about 2.8.

The 2.8 is a compact and sharp (particularly considering its age) moderate wide angle lens. I must must say I do not see any strong signature in the shots taken above (many of which are nevertheless very impressive).Not that I am the one to decide but I find 3.5 photos here trolling and that 3.5 photos has nothing to do in this thread as 2.8 has specific character and this is thread about 2.8.
With regard to the 3.5, unfortunately for me its "character" was made up of central veiling flare and significant softness and reduced contrast when shot wide open.
