Hi Gang,
This thread's been dormant for a while, so I thought it might be nice to breathe some life back into it.

I used to have the one w/ the 60mm lens and the crash bar around it. Was that the GS645? I really liked that camera, especially the big bright viewfinder. The downsides were the loud klunking shutter and the shutter itself, which finally went belly up and had to be sent back to KEH. They didn't have any parts to fix it the second time it went out so they refunded my money back. I love KEH
These were made when I knew little about photography, and had to send all my film out to be developed and scanned. Now that I do all that myself, I realize what a lousy job the lab did. The camera had a lot more potential than what you see here. 6X4.5 is not my favorite format, but it's a relatively big neg and easy to crop like three of these are. Wish I still had that camera.

I had a GS645S on loan a year ago. I really miss that camera. Relatively compact and light weight. And the lens is SHARP.

I also only have the somewhat crappy Epson V500, imagine the picture quality I could get out of a let's say V700 or even a Nikon Coolscan!
