That's amazingly good looking, a well used m3 with gray covering (never seen that before, looks nice, where did you get the covering?) and a nice simple strap... can't go wrong. I really like the all gray theme, although i would love to see that with a silver ZM (blue markings...) that would look really pretty.

It had the covering already when I bought it from a bloke in Israel.

Brad,

Beautiful and classic set up. You could stop now and have the quintessinal Leica combination. Enjoy!

M6 Panda and 35 Cron v4. I picked this up, my first RF and first Leica, on Wednesday!
I got the Softrelease and the strap and half-case by Artisan & Artist * at Photo Village.

I posted a picture of this 87 vintage M6 early in the thread when it was being recovered. Here it is with an early 70s 50 Summilux:

This *love* will turn into lust one day :) It's a beautiful kit, and KEH not having a canon 7 sure seem like a good thing for you. Enjoy!!!

The MP-3 is absolutely stunning and its great to see them being used. I still confess to a strange obsession with obtaining special editions and using them like hell. I only have one but would love some more just because...

I have a BP MP-3 and find the viewfinder so much better for clearing out the 28 and 75 frames. The only thing I dont like is that the strap lug is a little higher and it gets in the way of my right hand a touch. I feel it works better lower where it is on the M6/P/7.

The prices for the MP-3 set are now silly. What a shame as there still appear to be more sitting in their packaging than taking images

The same guy (an older gentleman & doctor) has 3 M3's and a M4 he will be selling and is going to give me first crack at them before he puts them on ebay. He also has a few lenses he will be parting with, a 50 Summilux, Summicron, 90 Elmarit, and a few other. I need to hit the lottery!

My new kit, although the film might change, as C41 processing in my area seems to be giving me problems...

I just got a nice, ku-LEEN 90/4 Elmar from RRF member CourierCam for my M3. This "completes" my M3 kit (famous last words ;)).

Hi Mark, that looks very ku-leeen !! But to "complete" your M3 kit, a googled Summaron 35/2.8 or 3.5 would be necessary !:D

Can anyone recommend a good quality but cheap (don't care if it's machine manufactured) leather case for my M6?

The Zhou cases are meant to be good, and they're not as expensive as the Luigis. Not that I would recommend cases full stop, I hope that you find what you're looking for. Nice Nokton BTW.
