wrist strap, which side do you attach to?

As a fellow Yorkshireman, some three generations removed, I can totally relate to your dry wit and commonsense approach to the question posed in this thread. But this being a discussion forum... what else would get discussed if it weren't for this kind of question?
the f*#king M9....I suppose!! :bang:
Dejected Dave :(

It never occured to me that you could possibly attach it at the tripod socket. How does one go about doing this?

I've always used a piece of cord tied through a split ring attached to the right strap lug, but have been thinking about trying out a neck strap or more sturdy wrist strap.

The only wrist straps I've ever seen -- I have two, somewhere, but I've seen others -- are attached to a ring mounted in a tripod socket screw.

Cheers,

Roger

If you're a Barnack body user, especially with early FSU cameras, you really don't have much choice - it's right.

OTH - I do prefer the left hand strap and hold, unless I'm into shooting with one hand... then it's back to right.

Are you confused enough now?
