Let's see your Leica M

My new M2, with my handmade (by me) case. :)

Very Nice!!!

How are you finding the CV 35 1.4? I have read a lot of mixed reviews on the lens. I am looking for a fast 35 to complete my setup but have been somewhat put off my the reviews.

Thanks :)

Got the lens on friday so can´t really tell yet. At least the build quality is typical Voigtlander: really good. And it is great to use. So first impressions are great.

I have the S.C.-Version of this lens.
I really like it for people-lowlight-stuff, but it has a lot (!) of barrel-distortion, so nothing for any architecture-stuff.

Before going back into something black; be warned (or inspired)

It's the Claret from Morgan

Close, but no cigar!
Maybe with an old silver lens, but when mounting a more modern black lens the elegance drowns in noise from letters and markings on the lens and the mixed styles don't match very well.

This is not my Leica and the owner is certainly not me (I have an M2). But I thought I just had to share this.

As I was walking around Harajuku, in Tokyo, today I spotted this man who was dressed like one of those schoolgirl Lolitas. What impressed me most about him, however, was that black Leica M6 slung around his right shoulder!

that shot is hilarious. I'm most interested by the fact that only the fellow he's talking with seems to notice him. is it that common to see a cross-dressed lolita in this part of tokyo, in a pink wig, no less, that no one is paying him any mind? nice kit he's got... I mean the camera;). I'll leave it to others to evaluate his attire.

My guess is the guy is a cosplayer :)
