Five New Mods at RFF

Glad to read the good news.
A pleasant place to reflect our thoughts, and enjoy the company...

Never know who you will meet or the wisdom they bring to the table.

Welcome all of you to your new tasks--and thanks in advance (in case I forget to give thanks at the time). This is a genuine contribution to all of us.

Hmm...

More moderators = good thing

No non-English/American moderators = surprising thing

I would have thought that it would have made sense to a) appoint at least enough moderators in different timezones to "follow the sun" and b) not reinforce the Anglo-Saxon monoculture. This is supposed to be an international forum, after all...

Regards,

Bill

No bag, Joe never sleeps anyway. :D :D

i want to officially welcome all the new mods and thank them profusely for accepting the job. i look forward to the odd day off now...
frank s has been our conscience for many years but only now he can remove those nasty uncalled for comments when called on.

a note to alll...not all that we asked accepted...

As one of my grannies used to say, "A shared load is the lighter." so this is good news.
And Congrats to all the new moderators!
I have to admit I wanted to strat this post with the words from the immortal Kent Brockman:
"I, for one, welcome our new alien overlords"...but decided that was inappropriate!:D

My Granny used to say, "Many hands make light work."
Thanks to Joe, and then Joe and Ralph, for all their work. Now they have a little help.

Welcome to the list of RFF moderators.
Yes, this look like a bunch of reasonable people.
Is there a woman moderator also in the future of RFF?
