What camera are you carrying RIGHT NOW?

I'm curious as to your opinion of that film Keith.

I'm a bit sort of ho hum about it actually. I've got 100ft of it in a bulk loader and only used a few rolls so far and it hasn't exactly impressed me. It suits certain subjects but tends to have that same slightly muddy look that HP5 possesses.

I shot this roll at 200 ISO to see if I get a little more bite and contrast from it with a one stop push.

And ... I shot the whole roll with the 300mm f4.5 Zuiko on a tripod ... lots of bird life in the trees at the GF's place and I think I got some nice shots this morning off the deck of the lurking Kookaburras who are ever ready to swoop in and try and steal your breakfast! :D

Thanks! That makes perfect sense to me.

We have this cute little kid's song about kookaburras here. It's good to hear they have an evil side. ;)

They're absolute mongrels! Where I live one swooped on some poor toddler eating something (they see kids as easy marks) and drove it's beak clean through the kid's cheek in a misjudged attempt to get the food!

Right now, I’m sitting at home, at my desk. The Bessa R is about 35cm away from my right hand, the Sony alpha 300 maybe 40cm...
In the last days, I carry my Bessa R everywhere, I bring it to school, bring it along, when I’m in the city... So, my Bessa R is my everyday camera :)

Keith, I hope one day to climb the Alps so that I may visit your strange land.

I'm on point duty looking after girlfriend's sick cat, in Cricklewood north London. In front of me is the cat and pal bookbinder Nick's old 111f which I bagged off him to try out, s/n 4244** which I think makes it '47. The toplate is marked D.R.P (Deutsche Reichs Patent) so does this mean the toplate was manufactured before 1945? The lens is a nice folding Summitar 5cm which I have just tried out on my M8 with a Milich LTM adaptor, and my first impressions are good. I've only just bought a '37 'standard' in black - I like black paint, but don't have much experience with LTMs. I'm looking forward to putting a roll through this camera too....

I just packed my stuff for our road trip (Lisa and me are going to visit the great Lluis aka sinetsin here on RFF down in Catalonia), so I have the M2, M4, Mamiya 6 and a bunch of lenses all set up and ready. mediterranean sea begs for colour slides so I threw in a few 120s and 135s of that in as well.
I've got to find more tri-x on the way though, 8-9 rolls are not quite enough...

I drove to Frankfurt airport today to pick my daughters from NYC. My passenger was an M4-P and Leicameter with a 50 summicron late generation.
I used Agfapan 400 as gas.

I'm trying the two lens bit: but on 2 dRFs:
An M8 with a CV28/1.9 for 35mm FOV, and my RD1s with a Lux 50mm making it a 75mm FOV; I'm prepping for a NYC trip in a couple weeks, and I wanted to try this outfit, so thought I would get a little practice in to work out the glitches before I need to be Johnny on the spot in NYC.

Took my bike to Royal Ground on Fillmore to do some work. M2 & Elmar-M 50/2.8 with LegacyPro400@1600 tagged along with me.

Got the X Pan packed with the M6/28 Elmart and both loaded with Arista 400. Gonna head up to little 5 points for some street pano shots in a few hours

Back to your question about Rollei Retro ... pushing it to 200 certainly boosted the contrast!

A couple of local vandals! :p

Just returned from seeing my cousin off at Heathrow airport - took an M2, Zeiss Opton Sonnar with Amedeo's adapter. Took one or two pics - hope they come out ok - film was Fuji Pro 400H.

It seems I can't start developing before 11pm. Just finished fixing and Neopan 400 @ 1600 from Rolleicord V is now being washed out. Still in Limbo of E-PL1 vs G2 dilemma. Toying with E-PL1 & 20/1.7, shooting my kitty cat, and M2 & Elmar-M 50/2.8 is on coffee table.
