Noctilux Photos

A couple I met at the gas station who bought their car new in 1966 and still drive it together today. Wide open at 0.95 (notice the purple fringing).

M9 + you know what

Wow! I love the colors, and the capture.
Brilliant photo.

Was this post process in photoshop or pure jpeg from the M9?

it's a preset setting in Lightroom 3, called 'yesteryear2' I think

I'm normally not one to mess with post processing, but couldn't help it for this shot

Anthony, this is a very interesting shot - makes me want to know about the persion - what are these books about?

Your image needs to be hosted somewhere online, then find the url of that photo by right clicking and selecting 'copy image url', then paste into the following format, without the spaces.

many thanks Punkromance, I'll try this from the Flickr image ;-)

v.accomplished shots Emile, the daisys seem to be floating on mist, and I like the luminous b/g on the headstone, forground detail looks finely modelled and lit too. Which Nocti, how old, and camera - just out of interest?

Thank you John,
This is an F1 Noct with the removable hood, 60mm. Dont know the year. I love this lens. I got it for a song about 8 years ago before the prices went thru the roof. It is really hit and miss...but when it hits...it hits big. Camera is Lumix GH1. My M3 & M6 dont get much useage since I bought this camera last year. I'm glad you enjoyed the photos! Thanks for the thumbs up. Here is a pic of the lens..
