California (Bay Area, Northern) Sacramento Road Trip Oct. 21st

Understood. And you guys may have a ball game to watch on Sunday, too.

Nah, we'll win the series before then. ;)

Randy, if I get back from my research site by Saturday, I'll make your life miserable by riding up with you on the train.

OK, here's the latest: meet at Temple Coffee downtown (on Ninth Street between J and K Streets) at 11 am on Sunday. If any folks are coming in on the train, please let Bingley know and he will meet you or arrange to do so nearby. Bring lenses to share, stories to tell. We'll grab lunch at the Alfa Open House (on 18th and L Streets). Also, please prepare to do an intervention as I am thinking of selling cheap a lot of my gear to get an item or two here. :) Look forward to seeing all who can make it.

Randy, Mike, If you haven't arrived in Sac by train in recent months, note that the tracks have been realligned so that the platforms are close to the old Union Pacific work buildings and correspondingly further away from the station. Let me know when your train is due to arrive and I'll meet you at the station, and we can walk up to Temple Coffee and begin the intervention...:)

I'm still a little up in the air as to whether I can make it. I'll let you know as soon as I know myself :)

I do have some Nikon S lenses I know one bicycle enthusiast might enjoy!

Oh no you don't. I have the MP6 itch and that means I need to sell stuff! Oh, ok, tempt me if you will.

Thanks Steve. Will let you know once we've figured things out.

Mike, I've never taken the train to Sacto so don't really know what I'm doing. Can you give some guidance (which station should we leave from, what time, etc.)?

Kent, I'm still hoping you can join us.

-Randy

EDIT: Well guys, sorry to say that I'm not going to be able to make this trip to Sacramento after all. Don't know if anyone else is planning on going and sorry Bob and Steve for the last minute change in plans. And I look forward to seeing everyone at the next gathering.

Gentlemen,

I will have to take a rain-check on this outing unfortunately. In the hierarchy of things I have a portrait session with a very beautiful, and single, woman ahead of kicking it around sac-town with the cool RFF crew.

I will be heading up to check out the exhibit, I'll let you know when and hopefully we can still meet up.

Have a great day!

Kent

I spoke with Bingley, Kent and MikeL recently about getting together here in Sac this Sunday November 18. Curious if there is still interest in doing so? If so, I propose we meet at my exhibit at 11 am (Temple Coffee on Ninth between J and K Streets).

Just got my 100' of Kentmere 400, been wanting to try this stuff. It will make it's debut in my camera Sunday in Sacramento.
