Hi guys,
Decided to take my R4A out and paired it up with the M-mount Color-Skopar 21mm f/4 for a bit of wide angle fun.
Voigtlander Color-Skopar 21mm f/4 on Bessa R4A using Kodak Portra 160 VC
Converted to monochrome in Adobe Photoshop CS2

The RF coupled 21mm was fun to use with a parallax corrected 21mm frameline. So convenient!
More photos in this set when I get the chance to upload them.
Do share your images and comments about this M mount lens if you have used it or are still using it.
Thanks!
Cheers,

Wow. Very nice. Those Portra colors are surreal.

It's a fun lens. I use mine primarily for shooting large gatherings of people (like Gay Pride Parade, Lovefest, Folsom Street Faire, etc.) here in SF.
Monumental (slightly cropped on bottom, shot at 2009 Gay Pride):
Pearls over Shanghai (also Gay Pride this year):

Oops, sorry. Mine was shot with the LTM version. Ignore the above photo.

Nice shot! I think they're both the same optically so surely this thread should include LTM, no?

im not sure what to make of kenrockwell's comments, but is there any credence in this lens being less stellar for digital RF (i.e., M8)?
performance looks great and not so heavy on the pocket either.

I also have the LTM version. I really like this lens and am learning to trust what it can do more and more.

Very cool. I love that you can buy a 21mm, a 25mm, and a 35mm, all in M Mount, for under $1200 brand new and they all perform great! What a deal for the thrifty Leica M user.

You can see bit of vignetting in this one...maybe the Zeiss ZM 21mm f4.5 C Biogon is better?

I made some picture with it (21 f4 LTM)
good lens
A friend bought a bessa R4 (with the 21 mm frame in the finder) it is quite impressive
I think I will buy one as soon as I can it seems to be a very efficient combo
I was suprised because I tought the 50 frame would be tiny but in fact no

didn't stop walking during the picture, this explain the "exploded" look of the backgroud
