debayered Pentax K-1 with 150-450 - I can't remember the crop ratio, but it was something over 50% - The original had 4 birds, at least one flying into the frame. It looked better with two.

The best camera is one that still works!
This thread has been going so long I might have posted this previously. However, the editing and processing is new.

A couple pics from Cooinda Yellow Waters, Australia that I took in 2018. Sony a7 and Sony/Zeiss 70-300 zoom. A comb-crested jacana (Irediparra gallinacea) walking around a marsh. The second pic is the chick of the same critter. Second pic a bit over-exposed, but I did not tweak the jpeg in software.

MY favorite bird that I see in USA. They are unmistakeable, even to a novice birder like me.Indigo Bunting in Sunlight. Oly OM 1 with 150-400mmlens.

Thanks Lynn, I have never seen an Australian Magpie. Totally different bird from what we call a Magpie here in the U.S. Really neat lookingMagpie adult and juvenile, Long Reef (Sydney), 30 Sept 2024. Nikon 1 V1 30-110mm. BW in LR6

Really like the chick. Feet look as big as it is.

Birds I photographed on a recent trip to Lord Howe Island. I'll post them in the order I took them (maybe adding others later). If you'd like different formats or higher resolution, please contact me (meant especially but not only for those who I gave my details to while on the island).
