Black out lettering?

Removing grease pencil, give denatured or isopropal alcohol a try on cotton swab. Or, put some white grease pencil over it?

For covering letters, black masking tape from any art supply store (usually on shelf next to white artist's tape) blends right in with the black camera. Almost invisible.
The grease pencil pack I bought was a two-pack...and one was white. I thought about using the white and may give that a shot as a last resort if the alcohol doesn't work. Thanks for the tip!

I will likely stick to Gaffer's tape from now on. It doesn't look as "clean," but it does clean up better when you decide the other way.

While not many I have been to a few odd spots that don't allow digital cameras but film for some reason is fine. Luckily I also had my Bessa in my bag one particular day so I had a few rolls of film with me and the security guy let me in(it also helped a lot that when I pulled the lens off there wasn't a sensor in sight :D).
