Has anyone used Cameraworks-UK recently? I sent them my Leica IIIc for a service nearly two months ago and haven't heard anything since, nor had any response to emails or other messages. I'm just beginning to get concerned.
 
I would suspect that they are, as are all good Leica repairers, busy! There is a 'phone number on their website.
 
I spoke with Alan at the start of the year. I think it’s normal that they’ll contact you when they’re about to start work. They have around a 6 month queue I think.
 
They are incredibly busy as I understand. My camera was with them for a while. You should get a booking note with a code. If not , your email probably filtered it out ( l never received my original one). Phone works best. Alternatively FB messenger. As I said they are incredibly (too) busy.
 
They currently have a camera of mine that I sent in early January. I was told "4 months" .
As indicated above, you should have received a work order after your camera was received and booked.
