Hello All
I use to be a collector of Canon RF stuff in the mid 2000's and friends
with Peter K (two of my lenses went it to his book when I owned them) and a Herbert from Germany. Very lucky to get Peter Dechert to sign his book and speak to him once on the phone.

I believe I have a true 25th Anniversary camera here and not the fake ones,
as it does match what is in Peter Dechert's book. You thoughts?

Also if Herbert sees this, can you PM as it has been years since we hald talked.

If you are on Facebook, you should consider joining the Canon Historical Society Group. Peter K., and others, belong to this group.

We had a real long discussion on the 25th anniversary Canon P, and its fakes, a few months back. Yours looks to be the real deal. You can tell by the "beak" of the Eagle.

Two pictures, an authentic 25th anniversary Canon P, and a fake one. The first picture is the real one:

The second picture is the fake one. Notice the beak on the Eagle. There are engraving differences too.

I own three Canon P cameras; in 3 colors. It is a very good users camera overall. Congrats on having a genuine 25th Anniversary model.
