Hi,
Does Serenar 50mm f/1.9 (LTM) collapse into Bessa-R body without damaging anything?
Any information about it would be appreciated!

Interesting. Or even if the Leica or Russian lenses cause problems.

My recollection is that collapsible lenses are not recommended for the R. In any case I've avoided them. Here is a thread from 2005 on the subject:

Addendum:
Here is what the 'head bartender' has to say -
"I received an email from someone who found out the hard way that collapsing a 50/3.5 Elmar into the Bessa R body will result in a metallic screeching sound that you don't want to hear. If the lens is collapsible, be careful and test it out before collapsing the lens all the way into the body."
