I have recently come across a Canon Zoom viewfinder which has markings for 21,25,28 and 35,40,45, and 50mm clickstops. The view appears to be only the 35,40,45, and 50 mm views. My question is there an adapter which allows the finder to display the much wider focal lengths? I have seen only two pictures of a VL and VS finder. This looks like the VL finder (all Black) but with the wider focal lengths. I got it because of the wide focal lengths which is disappointing if there is an adapter needed because I imagine it would be next to impossible to locate. The finders themselves seem quite scarce. Anybody have any experience or other descriptions(Canon manuals) related to these zoom finders.

Thanks,
Gary

Yes there is an adapter needed. The few times I've seen a picture it looks much like the 28mm attachment on a Leica Vidom.

I prefer individual finders.
