Hi!
Last week i got a son. It took over 40 hours so i picked up my camera to pass some time. Here are some of the more (not so disgusting) photos. Taken with my Ricoh GRII and my X-pro2.

Miraculous event, isn't it? Wonderful pics. Thanks for sharing and all the best with your new addition.

Very nice stuff. 40 hours, you wife deserves a very nice present next Mothers Day.

I have the camera (Retina IIc) that my father used to take the first picture of me. I used it to take the first picture of my oldest son. Perhaps he will follow the tradition.

Congratulations on the addition. Hope you are getting some sleep.

There are no disgusting images at a birth.
It is a miracle and great joy.
I had decided no to do certain images even before my angel, the mother in waiting, threatened that if i Did, she would rip off bits of me and eat them..
This was at moment of great pain..
Congratulations!

You have created a really lovely record of a very special event. The birth of a child is a truly miraculous event, and we are blessed that these days it can be inclusive and involve us fathers. I was at the birth of my three daughters, actively helping them into this world of many wonders, and would not have missed it for anything. Even after all these years it brings tears of joy to my eyes every time I hold a newborn or even read about it as you allowed us to do. Hold onto this memory because it will help you navigate the ups and downs of being and becoming a good father.

I looked at the photos I took of our twin daughters’ birth last night. Brought me to tears immediately. They’re nearly four, and the photos are more special than ever.

Congratulations on the birth of your boy!

(No pictures of a birth are disgusting IMO, just messy as all heck. Birthing is one of the few truly sacred parts of life and a magical thing. Of course, it's also really unnecessary to post all such photos... Anyone who has ever been a parent and witnessed the birthing knows all about it anyway. :))
