My M3's off getting CLA'd and I was looking for a decent RF to get my girlfriend started in photography. Thus I was very excited to see an auction for a GS and GSN as a package, one for me and one for her, all good right? When I recieved them today I was toatly prepared for the light seals on both being gone. The kicker was the GSN needs a new pad, and I don't have those snap pliers to take off the top, and the GS is electricaly dead, but at least it's pad is good. Guess I have a fun dismantling weekend ahead of me instead of shooting hehe, can't wait to get them working and see what they can do.

Joey,
You don't need pin pliers - use a piece of silicon rubber to undo the wind crank and asa dial. When you put the asa dial back, just tape it in place with some masking tape while you tighten the central screw. Works for me every time
