Film Vs Digital - Just for Fun

My gess. dig,dig,analog,dig,analog,analog,dig

If I'd thought analog instead of film I know I would have done better. I'm an analog guy.. shame on me. Thanks Mikael for setting me straight.

One sharp eyed customer has 6 out of the 7 correct

The 10 x 8 inkjet prints of these images don't reveal any more info - that is, the screen shots are very close to the prints. At larger sizes it might be more obvious.

If I were to produce the same image shot on film and digital with comparable equipment, then it would probably be easier to differentiate. However, I think this shows that it is not always obvious which is which.

Answers to be published later this evening. Anyone spot the M8 shot?

2 and 5 are digital. Everything else is film.

We have a winner. One bucket of smugness in the post. Camera etc details

Canon F1 50 1.8 HP5+
Epson R-D1 35 F2 'cron
Hexar RF hex 50 F2 Delta 100
M6 'cron 35 F2 Delta 400
Olympus E1
Bronica RF645 HP5+
Bronica RF645 XP2

Thank for playing. I lied about the M8.

6 out of 7. I whiffed on the dog. Does this mean I get a half-bucket of smug?

If it had been anything other than the dog I would have said yes, but she's hurt that you thought she was digital :D

Hey! I scored 1 out of 7! Am I banned from digi vs. film threads? :)

Congrats, Jason!

1 out of 7 is better than those who didn't dare take part ;)
