Hello,
I have this lovely Foca 2 star, with a pefect Oplar f1.9 50mm lens. The faster shutter speeds are ok, but the 1/50 and 1/25 and also the B are a bit sluggish. the first curtain opens slowly i think.
Looking at the bottom of the camera there are two screws (on the side of the film roll) and 1 screw on the take up spool side. I am pretty sure that these screws adjust the shutter but do not know what does what and in what sequence they need to be used.
I have messed up a russian shutter in the past by adjusting screws without knowledge and i do not want to do this again.
can any one help please?
I will try to post an image below

What fraction of your pictures would be impacted?I have messed up a russian shutter in the past by adjusting screws without knowledge
What are the chances that the shutter ends up being worse after attempted adjustment?
What if it's not just a matter of adjustment, but dried lubricants?
How about using it as-is?
