Thanks to all of you for the notice —particularly for the old Augsburg photos, which may as well have been taken by a total stranger to me since, 50 years on, they have fascination for me too.

John, who apparently lives in Augsburg these days, has promised to return to some of the same locations and rephotograph them. THAT should be interesting!
