Ikon ZM frame lines override?

Should I use the wrong LTM->M adapter on my Ikon ZM, so that the wrong frame lines are shown, can I manually override them?
 
Yes, this will work. It will work on M Leicas as well. Be aware that the adapters bring up pairs of frame lines on a Leica (28/90, 50/75, and 35/135), but the ZM does not have the 75mm or 135mm frame lines. Some consider this a feature of the ZM, other consider it a bug. In addition, the ZM's longest frame lines are for nominally 85mm, but in the real world, these are perfectly fine for a 90mm.
