Interesting half-frame Kickstarter

Kinda cool. Put a faster "real" lens on it, ditch the hipster gimmick lenses, and I could bite. Or at least nibble. But at the end of the day, we need new "real" cameras. The old ones ain't getting any younger. And that doesn't mean a new M Leica, it means cameras for those of us who can't afford luxury toys.

As a fan of old cine equipment I am fond of a good turret full of lenses. Of course, as you turn the turret I expect the non reflex viewfinder to adjust to the correct field of view automatically.

I don't understand their choice of lenses though. I would expect a 'standard' in the camera with supplementary lenses for different focal lengths.

But what do I know about 'modern' photography...?
