I have a chance to buy a nice condition T with a 23mm Summicron and external bright line finder. Is this camera still a good buy at $1,000? Thanks.

Isn't the lens worth than that on it's own? I've never looked into digital Leicas, I'm poor.

Gary,
It could be. I don't know much about this camera and there's not a lot of information on the web. If it focuses fairly quickly and accurately and the files are decent, I thought I could take it when I might need a color photo and it would fit in a bag with real - make that film - cameras. I do have Canon DSLRs and lenses that I use at work, but something tiny like this would allow me to be out and about without taking two sets of cameras/lenses.

Body and lens for $1000; buy it immediately.

Just curious. How is the body for adapted lenses? I haven't seen the T and lens for $1000, but have seen the body and VFer for close to that.

I have seen them as low as 1000$ for the pair but those prices are few and far between or else I would own a T.
I just never have the money when a cheapish one pops up.
