I think I know the answer to this question, but I no longer have an S3 to look at. When using the daylight fill flash system, do you have to manually compensate for film speeds higher than 100 on the guide number ring? For instance, if a flash has GN of 14 (meters) at ASA 100, but you use that flash with ASA 400 film, do you have to increase the guide number on the ring to compensate? Or does the film speed lever on the lens already compensate for that? Thanks!

The ASA setting and the GN setting are not coupled if that's what you're asking.

Yes, that was what I was asking. So, that means if you are using a flash and using film with higher speed than 100, you have to manually compensate for that with the GN dial (i.e., increase the setting). Thanks! The ASA setting and the GN setting are not coupled if that's what you're asking.
One of the best features of the S3, fill flash!
