After decades of faithful service, my Leicaflex SL showed its first sign of age: the plastic tip of the advance lever came off, cleanly I might add. Can i glue it back in place? if so, what glue should i use or avoid?
This may happen to fellow forum users, so let's get it out there.

No screw coming up from the underside? I use a glue called E6000 on anything I want to stay.

I'd want something reversible -- i.e. not Crazy Glue. Contact cement is pretty secure, I find.

This stuff is reversible in the cases I've used it, surface of one thing on surface of another but I don't know if it would be in the case of your slide on situation. It is more of a rubber cement on steroids.
