I just noticed no one has ever created a generic thread for the Sony a7 family shots. Right now we have the a7, a7s and a7r. In the Fuji, who knows what new models will arrive.. Look how fast these three models came into being.
Anyway.. I'll start it off w/ some that I have posted before in other threads. This first set has been taken w/ various rf lenses and all have level of cropping.

I had just gotten the A7 and took it along to one of our local camera meets. As usual with the Zeiss Macro Planar 50mm f2.0 (it is a F-mount lens with the appropriate adapter). Peter, one of the members had brought this Argus "brick" fully loaded. This is at f2.0 and hand held (probably around 5000 iso too).

A7, 21mm Summilux. F4 I think...
A7, Noctilux-M ASPH, wide open.
A7, 135mm F2.8 STF "bokeh machine"
Another one with the 21mm Summilux. Hands down my favorite lens, and a real street worker with EVF (instead of separate window framing/focus)
Everything in my 500px gallery (with the exception of some stray NEX-7 and medium format shots) is made with the original A7 body. Take a look if you're interested

Nice images everyone. Here are some of mine from last week's trip to Maui. All of the images taken with A7R and FE 55mm:

Kxl, I like the plane and the pool. I'd want to vacation there. The processing is alright (visually attractive like candy, though a little much for my everyday senses), but the palm tree shot has severe issues due to your processing: I am seeing wide and clear artifacting outlining the trees. edit: In fact, now that I look again, the trees in the pool shot are exhibiting the dodged-looking outline around the trees as well.

Thanks. Yes, a couple of them do have artifacts, probably from over-dodging or over-sharpening. I digitally post process with an eye toward printing on aluminum, and it's difficult to find that razor's edge for sharpness for that medium without over-doing it, which I clearly did on a couple of these photos. I realize it's a bit much for everyday tastes, but I (and those who hang my aluminum prints on their walls) have found that "candy" post-processing works very well for metal prints.
Again, thanks for your comments.

Had a chance to go to Portland and Seattle last week. I ended up taking the DP2Q and A7 w/ 35F2.8 FE with me. We only had three days of nice weather. The rest was on the wet side. So the A7 ended up being used the most. The B&W shots were converted from color using Silver FX Pro 2.
