Using the Leica SF24D and an M10, when I half-press the shutter release the live view on the LCD almost completely blacks out. This only happens when the flash is ON. It doesn't matter if the flash is in M, A, or TTL mode, It doesn't matter if the flash mode in the camera is set to beginning of or end of exposure (first curtain or second curtain). This completely defeats the use of LV with a flash. Is this a known issue and/or am I missing something? Thanks.

I don't have a Leica flash. But when I use a third-party flash (Metz 20 C-3) with my Leica M10, the live view blacks out completely when I press the shutter release halfway. The metering information at the bottom of the screen remains visible, however -- although it's unnecessary when using flash. Apparently the blackout is a feature, not a bug. I rarely use flash or live view, so it doesn't matter to me.

Early M11 software sometimes had a camea lock up problem.

It is said to be cured in the Version 2 software.
