Film is the other way
Hi to the Ontario based members or those coming to Toronto. Assuming we all know who he is, there is a Michael Snow 9 foot by 16 foot colour transparency now at Christopher Cutts Gallery. I also put this note in the "Completely Different" section of RFF.

Hi Frank and Einolu
Yes she is looking at the camera as the camera is focused on her. Apparently Michael Snow took several shots, all posed, and this was the most 'interesting' of the set for him. Some shots were "too direct" an eye contact between the viewer and the woman. I believe that is why he went with this one.
The transparency is hung from a ceiling with a massive clamp suspended by chains in the ceiling itself, you can walk right around the installation and look at it from both sides. The transparency also has had a digital feature imbedded into the actual shot as the original 4"x5" colour transparency was further manipulated.
