I had the chance too shoot a 215 and a 320 polaroid rangefinder camera in the streets of vevey/switzerland yesterday. these huge funky beasts are wicked for street photography! it was great fun. I don't know which polaroid black and white film I had but I preferred it to the fuji fp-100b one. this is a very different way of photography and I think the whole perception of the photograph you take is a little different compared to when you shoot, say, a leica m.

Peel-apart Polaroids are great! So much nicer than packfilm, apart from having to find some way of holding them until they dry which doesn't get them covered in dust...

Too bad they are gone. And Kodachrome soon. It's a conspiracy. The digital folks can't mimic Kodachrome or Polaroid so they kill it.

I love my 600 SE, I think the Fuji FP 100 C instant film is much more vivid than Polaroid 690, which I am disappointed in, it has much less vibrancy, while it has a 'look', I am not too concerned about the loss of Polaroid, when Fuji instant film disappears - that will be a sad day. Dust is a problem with these films, I am trying to use my Epson V700 scanner but not getting the sharpness that is visible from the print.

I wonder if those music CD plastic flip-open case can fit a couple of "wet" peel-aparts? Anybody tried it?

the problem is that with some films (fp-100c for example), the photos would stick together when still 'wet' and leave ugly marks afterwards. so you'd need one case for each...
