Texas New Regional Club? S.Central Texas..

Didnt know there was a S. Central Texas club, I live in Killeen, TX (45min N. of Austin) when I am not living in the desert (Iraq). I will be back in the area in 6mo and am interested if there will be regular meetings/events/coffee. I dont really have any local photographer friends in my area so getting together to go out an shoot would be welcome. I find alot of native Texans like to drive big trucks and shoot deer and such. I was born in Dallas originally but grew up in Florida so although I enjoy fishing and camping, shooting is limited to my cameras.

If you live in or around San Antonio / Austin / Killeen area respond to this post so we can get a list of potential participants for this sort of gathering. I will up for it in the Oct/Nov timeframe. I know a great spot for some "nature" type photographs, and downtown Austin would be great for "street" shooting.
