Nikon 1: Post your photos!

What a lonely thread :) Here you go, rainy day in Madrid, shot on V1 and experimented by dragging the files through Silver efex.

Jun-deung Temple on Gang-hwa Island on the West coast of So. Korea that was first built in 1382 and rebuilt in 1621 after a fire. It has been largely untouched since then.

v,nice pple.... a quick question, does the v1 optical viewfinder provide any information like autofocus points ? i tried searching the nikon website for info but couldn't find any. (pls point me to the right direction)...

i do believe it does,... i've been using mine manually without the autofocus,...

but from what i recall at the shop with the kit lens, and from what i found after a quick google it seems to: http://www.2cameraguys.com/best-mirrorless-cameras-2012.htm?page=Nikon-V1

scroll a thrid of the way down and you'll see what i think is the autofocus. what you see on the LCD is the same as the evf so it should show up there.

also, with the v1 lenses, it magnifies a certain area so that you can fine tune the focus.

dont take my word for it tho, as i only got the body, so autofocus and the magnifying focus doesnt work for me. manual focus though is a breeze via the lcd or evf.

hopefully someon else will chime in,.. if not head over to dpreview's V1 forum,.... they're alot nicer than the usual dpreview folk :p

these are very interesting to me. i like the b&w a lot. on my monitor it seems the color ones lack a bit of vibrance compared to lets say fuji or olympus. do you guys notice this or is it just my monitor?

also, i'm wondering if anyone is using c mount lenses on these cams and what that experience is like.
thanks
tony
