Hi everyone!
I just bough a Pen D3 however I think the Cds meter was not functioning.
I tried to insert a LR44 battery. Or should I use other kind of battery?
Is there any post/video out there disassembling the camera to test the Cds?
Thanks everyone!

Hey Joemed. I think LR44 is too small. You could try a PX675 which should fit. The voltage on that would be too high. If you want correct voltage an MR-9 adapter and an lr44 or preferably SR44 silver oxide battery would work.
Another thing, the meter button on mine is a little iffy. Maybe yours is not making good contact anymore.

I'd bet it's a bad battery contact or a cold solder joint. I had to correct both on mine.
All you have to do is pull the top and bottom covers, which is straightforward.

Do you know where could I buy PX675?
And how did you fix the meter button?

I would like to have a try on it. Do you have any photos taken during the disassembling process?
