Oscar Barnack's Personal Series 0 Leica # 105 that he gave to his son
just sold at the Vienna Leitz Auction - formerly Westlicht Auction.

Only 14,400,000 Euro - currently $15,100,000.

Amazing, not so much the money, although that amount is pretty eye opening, but to think that almost 100 years later, roughly the same lens formulation with its physical construction not much changed is one of my absolute favorites today.
