A pal and I have been kicking around the idea of a greater Portland area print throwdown for a year or so, and it's time to figure one out.
The idea is to meet for a couple hours some afternoon or evening, each person bringing five or six prints to talk about, and then gathering in small groups to offer reactions, suggestions, pose questions etc. The idea is to limit gear talk and concentrate on picture content and making pictures.
I figure I can get to this some time around the end of July. Saturdays and Sundays are best for me.
We would need a suitable meeting spot (maybe a McMenamin's with a meeting room) and have to agree on a time.
