My Retina IIC (large C) has seen its share of wear and tear, but nothing on it is nearly as worn as is the leather on the lens door. It's completely worn through to the metal in one spot, and the work Kodak can barely be read. There's not a lot of grain left on it. I'm not desperate to do it, but I wouldn't mind replacing the door with one that's not quite so worn out. Does anyone know of a camera graveyard that might give up a door? Is it identical to the door on the small-c Retina IIc?

Thanks!

You can use any lens door: Ib, IB, IIc, IIC, IIIc, IIIC.

The cameras were kept affordable by using many common parts.

The primary difference between the all of these models was the lens, the inclusion of a meter, the top deck and the rangefinder/viewfinder.

Everything else was common: body casting, back door, film advance, shutter, bottom plate, lens door, pressure plate, sprocket wheel, etc.

Thanks, Spider67 (into Alfas?) and ZeissFan. It makes it easier knowing the door is common to many models. Now I just need to find one!
