I'm in the process of running a test-roll through my Retina IIa.(016)
I have noticed that the RF inset patch goes "off" when sighting objects beyond 100 ft (focus ring set at "Inf" .). The farther away from the camera, the farther to the right ( and out of sync ) the inset image seems to be.
I've never experienced this phenomenom with an RF camera before...
Is my camera out of whack, or is this "normal" behavior for the IIa ?
Thanks,
Luddite Frank

No, this is not the normal behavior: the rangefinder is not properly adjusted. This is not a very difficult task in your camera. There is a page from a New Zealand gentelman with lots of useful information about that (perhaps somebody remember the URL). Great camera, by the way.
