RFF Searching

Am I missing something on this site's search function? If so, please advise.

Today I searched on "zf" in topics and, of course, it's too short.

Then I tried "Nikon Zf", which returns every thread with "Nikon" in the title. Boolean operators don't seem recognized, either.

Personally, I feel that at least removing the minimum character requirement would be a big step forward.

Who has moved to the Nikon ZF?

Two of my customers sold extensive Leica SL2 outfits and moved very happily to the Nikon ZF and Voigtlander manual focus lenses. Who else has made the move? Or is contemplating it ?

That helps, but I was interested in thread topics.
And my point was more to propose that RFF’s search function be improved.

the default Xenforo search is not the best, but this should do the job:

click on 'Advanced search...'



then click on 'Search threads' and put "nikon zf" in quotes, and check the box:



The three letter limitation is a limitation of all MySQL databases. There is an enhanced search available from Xenforo but it's not installed on this site.
