Australia/New Zealand The Lure of Photographing Abandoned Spaces.

There was a TV show produced by Bravo! (I think) a few years a go about this kind of thing. Mainly in Europe; very interesting. Can't remember what it was called...
 
Where I live, abandoned structures abound within a 50 mile drive in any direction. But I usually just photograph them from a point as close as I can get without actually going on the property.

However, this one carbide plant really attracted me to go inside because of the huge section of missing fence, and the fact you could only get good views from inside the property due to all the vegetation that had grown up along the fence line.

It's something I would like to do more often, but not for profit. Some of these places really do need to be documented before they are gone, as most folks might not even know they existed.
