The New Texas Leica?

Back then FujibackthenFilm made 6x9 film RF. They called it Texas Leica, then. Because it was big and RF.
Now here is speculation about FujiNoFilm making digital MF camera which is nor RF, nor big. Yet, it is new Texas Leica now. Why?
If same twisted logic to be applied, then Leica S is already new Texas Leica.
Leica, MF and big.

The Appellation of " Texas Leica" is a free agent and can be applied to any make of humongous camera with Leica M body lines, whether it is RF film or digital, or faux RF.

If Fujifilm or some other firm makes an even bigger " Texas Leica" digital or film then the "Texas Leica" crown moves on to them.

They will have the bragging rights.

I do think Texas Leica is widely understood to refer to the Fuji 6x9 RFs.

Linhof did take it one stage bigger
