Will somebody please convince me to throw down for a rapidwinder for my M6? I'm already pretty convinced as it looks like a really slick tool, especially when I hear about left eyed shooters who are tired of poking themselves in the eye with their thumb or dislodging their glasses in a frantic attempt to rewind before the moment passes. That would be me. So,,,, I'd love to hear from folks with opinions on the relative usefulness of this lovely winder. The price tag is a significant outlay for me but possible with a little creative check book balancing and the right timing. You know, the usual routine. Rationalization is a wonderful, but dangerous, thing. Help me rationalize.

Dear Steve,

I adore my Leicavit and I'm told by many that Tom's winder is even better. Even if it's only as good, I'd recommend it unreservedly. It's hard to go back to a plain-base Leica when you're used t a trigger.

Cheers,

R.
