USB Battery Charger for Ricoh GR II

Can we charge Ricoh GRII with Smartphone (Samsung) USB-Wall charger or Power bank?

I charge my GR with any USB adapter that happens to be around (car lighter socket adapters, power banks, all sorts of usb wall adapters, computer usb...), hasn't caused a problem in 2.5 years.

I do it all the time with my usb wall charger.

It won't charge when connected to my macbook pro though.

Yes, the only inconvenient is that you have to use the Ricoh USB/AV cable.

I wish they would put a standard micro USB port or USB3 port in the next iteration. One less cable to worry about.
