First clear Czech I heard. The first time I heard it they did not say ‘prosím’. Typical of the time.

Thank you, you are very kind. I was semi-fluent 25+ years ago, and could understand most conversations, but there were some sounds I could never get around to making properly. A Czech friend with a quite severe speech impediment was incredibly helpful. I still dream in Czech sometimes, usually in those dreams I am on the Metro, in an auditory input only dream where I hear the sounds of the metro and the announcements. Czech is really hard, so don’t feel bad if you struggle. There was very little English used in the 1990s so it was learn or isolate.
