I am lucky that there are a stream of scenes which present themselves for photographing in my area that are interesting. Or I could be deluded. In either case here is an early morning shot up the Columbia River from my town of Astoria, OR, to the Astoria Anchorage where ships await orders to go for cargo. Usually in Longview for timber products or Kalama for agricultural products. The trusty M-9, possibly the Cooke Amotal.

Coming home from a meeting and then a car wash, head to the harbor. Nothing new, same old same old but different light. I liked the light and shapes, that's all. M240, ISO 2500, first 1/60, second ISO 3200, 1/24, both f/5.6 Lens, CV 35mm f/1.7. Very nice lens with great definition and color. A honey. It works well daylight or dark.

And a daylight one of the beautiful Sjöa, once with the X2D and now with the M240 and CV 35mm f/1.7. ISO 200, 1/1000. f/5.6. This CV 1.7 is a sweet lens, sharp but not an eye slicer sharp lens, just enough with great color. A good collaboration of lens and camera. The combo does well in daylight also.
