I have Leica R lenses. I also have the Contax 135 and the 35-70 3.4 vario sonnar MM. Both are very substantialI don't find them particularly heavy. They are similar weights to Nikkors.
50/1.4 CY - 290g; Nikkor 50/1.4 AIS, - 250g.
50/1.7 Planar: 195g, Nikkor 50/1.8 AIS: 175g
85/2.8 Sonnar: 260g; Nikkor 85/2 AIS: 313g
35/2.8 Distagon: 240g Nikkor 35/2.8: 235g
60/2.8 Makro Planar C: 270g Micro Nikkor 55/2.8 290g
If you want heavy, try Leica R lenses!
There are always individual outliers of course, but the C/Y lenses are pretty much in line with most other SLR lenses.
35-70/3.4 Vario Sonnar: 475g
35-70/3.5 AIS Nikkor: 512g
35-70/3.4 Vario Sonnar: 475g
35-70/3.5 AIS Nikkor: 512g

That’s nuts!
But even regular Leica R are overweight: 60mm f/2.8 Elmarit R is 50% heavier than the 60mm Makro Planar.

And the Leica-R 60mm is also a very even performer throughout the focus range from 1:2 to infinity. The Nikkor 55 f2.8 is too. But the Zeiss C 60mm Makro is optimised for close up, doesn’t have a floating element, and is only so-so past about 2.5-3m focus distance. That’s one way they made it lighter.I have the 60mm R and it's heavy but the image quality is very good.
