I've just picked up a secondhand Biogon from a dealer and have been getting some great results right from the moment I put it on the camera. However, when I turn the camera to the portrait orientation, the lens focus becomes stiff. It's fine for landscape orientation.
From googling around, it seems a few people have reported this issue in the past, but I've never seen whether anyone has solved it. I am wondering whether it's going to get worse, or just go away with use, or if there's something I could adjust myself.
I can send the lens back, but the results have been so good that I'm reluctant to do that.

Mine is always stiff the first focus twist or so, then loosens up
