I bought a used CV S Skopar 50mm f/2.5 lens to be used with an Amedeo S mount to LTM adapter on my Zf. To my surprise, I cannot mount the lens on this adapter. It can be set into the adapter but not turned to lock it into position. The lens mounts and works fine on my Nikon S2 and both my W-Nikkor S mount lenses (35/2.5 and 28/3.5) mount and work fine on the Amedeo adapter. Is there any known incompatibility with this specific lens and the Amedeo adapter? I did some searching on line but could not find any answer or solution to my problem with this lens.

I have had the same problem. I saw your post in the other thread and responded to it; I understand you’re also trying to mount the Skopar on a Nikon Zf.

I believe DAG will machine the rear of the S mount CV lenses to work with the Amedeo adapter.
Update: I contacted Shintaro-san, whose modified CV line lenses were shown here at RFF in another thread. The rear of the CV S-mount lenses only need to be modified to not disturb the RF arm of Leica M cameras. His Amedeo-adapter mounts non-modified CV S-mount lenses (obviously not on a Leica and with RF) but his Amedeo adapter (he sent me a photo) looks different. It appears that Amedeo changed the adapter design over time and the version that I have with the knurled base ring to facilitate easy mounting on the Leica, interferes with the CV S-mount RF coupling system while Nikon S-mount lenses do not. Since the CV S-Skopar mounts and works well on my Nikon S2, the problem is the internal design of the adapter.

I solved the problem by buying a Rayqual adapter, made in Japan, that doesn't provide any RF coupling and only works with outer mount lenses. This way, I can use the CV S-Skopar with my Zf and Techart TMZ-02 adapter. For inner mount S-mount lenses and Nikon outer mount S-mount lenses I can use my Amedeo adapter.
