This website seems to think so and I had to laugh when the guy said if its build quality had been better it would have been as good as an OM1! What a dick - even if he is only joking!

I think it's a tie between a Contax IIIa, the Leica M3, and a Hasselblad 501 kit with a 80mm CB lens on it.

The M6??
FOR SURE.. how can it not be the most handsome camera.. look at how BIG it is :D

"to each his own taste" is the rule. Given that, I would venture within the M series that the M3 or MP are the most beautiful. IMHO. The IIIc and sibs may be more appealing still to alternative tastes while an ARCA F line is more austere than any M.

I would not trade my M6 bodies for any other M for utilitarian reasons but as for handsome, in the M series.... I'd say M2. The picture frames around the finder windows on the M3 disqualify it for me. For looks, I prefer the simplicity of the M2. But that's not enough to make me buy one. I need the rewind crank and meter of the M6. MP is a little too "designer" for my taste, but I'm peculiar that way.

In my opinion, the M2 would be the most handsome M if it weren't for the vertical lines I've marked in the picture. I just can't stand them and I don't know why! (I have an M2 myself by the way). And as Pablito said, the frames around the finder window of the M3 aren't attractive either. But the MP... oh the MP is just perfect.

M3 and Contaflex TLR are both gorgeous. Unfortunately I dont have either of them.

M6 is a good looking camera, yes, though.
