Weekend Photography Plans: What are you up to?

Ladies and Gentlemen ... it is weekend! [can you hear me cheering you up?]

I will enjoy the weekend as it comes. Weekend farmers market, playground, just walking some streets downtown, the beaches when the heat is more manageable here.
What are you up to?

Just tried the 135 Serenar out at the local equestrian college.
I don`t have a proper mount as yet so I was guessing the framing .
The film is drying so I`ll soon find out if I guessed correctly.
Tomorrow I`ll try it with a roll of colour.

Went walkabout downtown in Raleigh this morning with the M2, the Nokton 35/1.2, and some Oops-I-Forgot-I-Had-This-And-Now-It's-One-Month-Expired Efke 25.

I managed taking a few photos with the Canon 85mm/1.5 and Summicon 35mm as Dana was eating at Whataburger. Then, the rain started pouring ... all day.
Hopefully, I will get more chances tomorrow.

Found a new to me park and took a walk around it, getting some tree shots & some detail shots with the Canon. Then went out to my usual suspect cemetery and burned some 4x5. Got the development right this time but only 50/50 on the exposures. Which, after a three year lull in shooting LF, is probably not that bad.

It's weekend again.
I may use SLR equipment just for a change.
Maybe I will go to the farmer's market.

I'm going to be shooting street photography in Brooklyn tomorrow. I'm taking my Mamiya 7 with a borrowed 43mm lens, and my Bessa R4a. I bought some Kodak 160NC today in both formats. We'll see what I can get!

sper: I don't know where in Brooklyn you'll be, but if you're anywhere in or near Park Slope, we could run into each other.

Anyway: Once again, I'm up stupid-late, but I do intend to drag myself out of bad early enough for a rather large neighborhood tag/stoop sale later this morning, which includes a ton of CDs which should have would-be music lovers and collectors hovering buzzard-like. I might bring the little Contax and/or one of the Hexars, leaving just enough room in the bag for a choice handful of CDs.

It is pouring rain here in Pensacola. I started out the day by taking photos of my daughters while they had breakfast.I used the Canon 85/1.5 on the M6. Focusing was very easy with this set. I had Kodachrome 64, which I used up here. Then I switched over to the Nikon 105/2.5 with Kodak C-41 B&W.

Ouch...sorry to hear of the rain down there, Raid. We're lucky to have nice weather here at the moment, sunny but not silly-hot. Took the bike out for a little ride, then hit the tag sale and scored a handful of interesting CDs, then back home for brunch and getting some assorted housework done. Took the Contax with me, but didn't snap a thing.

Just curious, is anyone making the pilgrimmage to hear the Prophet Glenn Beck, at his Tea Bag Party on the mall?

I would be there if I could. I'm watching some of it on the web. He's trying to channel Martin Luther King Jr. But I don't recall seeing velvet ropes at the "I have a dream" speech.

It's interesting to hear what he doesn't say. No explicit mention of the President. Only oblique references to "a nation at the crossroads" and similar, umm, STUFF.

Barrett,
I have often taken photos during the rain by using an umbrella. Enjoy your "new" CD's.

Dan,
We each have a vote, and the rest is up to individuals. I will not spend any time on such things. It is troubling.

Sorry, Raid. It's difficult for me to resist making my comments.

Your photographs of your daughters are always lovely. Good choce on your part.

Raid, no rain up here but humidity is low for the river bottom where I live, and there is a strong breeze from the east with today's high at a mere 88F. It is lover deck-sitting weather.
I had to work for a bit this morning, but before I went in, I shot a few frames of Ferrania 400 with my SP1000/Tak 55/2. I imagine that as the light turns this afternoon, I will be drawn to shoot a frame or two or three with the SP or Konica S III. The Kon is loaded with Kodak Gold 200 ...

Just back from a day out in Manchester with the RFF group.
Mixed weather and changing light.
Escaped both the Leica shop and Jems reasonably undamaged :)
I passed on your regards ,Tom.

Paul,
I sat in the covered back porch a few minutes ago. It was very nice not to have so much heat.

I will take my family on a beach drive later on in the day. Maybe I can take a few interesting looking photos here and there. I have dug up the Voigtlaender Prominent with its 50/1.5 Nokton. It will be used maybe.

Put a roll of Pan F+ plus through the M6+Canon 35mm 2.0 shooting some street stuff in Fburg yesterday afternoon and earlier today. Still have about 2hrs before the negs are dry and ready for scanning.
